چکیده
Under the global water crisis, utilizing low-quality sources in agriculture for irrigation has offered an effective solution to address shortage of water. Using excess may cause serious risks environment, which threaten crop safety and human health. Three kinds (0.413, 1.44, 2.84 dS m−1) were selected under foliar-applied bio-nanofertilizers selenium (100 mg L−1) copper individual and/or combined application. The nanofertilizers tested on production tomato greenhouse. After harvesting, quality yield soil biology was evaluated. saline caused many main features this study such as increasing accumulation salts, organic matter, CaCO3 by 84.6, 32.3, 18.4%, respectively, compared control. highest (2.07 kg plant−1) soluble solids content (9.24%) recorded after with low (2.84 nano-Cu fertilization. plant enzymatic antioxidants biological activity decreased general due salinity stress 30 days from transplanting, all studied parameters (soil microbial counts enzymes) higher than same at harvesting (80 days) different categories quality. values salinity. This carried out answer question whether can promote irrigation. Further investigations are still needed concerning applied doses these nanofertilizers.

Molecular and biochemical characterization of tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.) plants cv. Micro-Tom under lead (Pb)-induced stress
Two different Pb concentrations (5 and 10 mg/kg of PbAc2) were used to study the response of Solanum lycopersicum L. cv. Micro-Tom (MT) plants in two vegetative growth phases. Two genes that have been previously reported to be heavy metal inducible genes (superoxide dismutase, SOD, EC 1.15.1.1; and isofl avone reductase, IFR; EC 1.6.4.2) and another one putatively interesting in this fi eld (tr...
متن کاملMetabolomic profiling from leaves and roots of tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.) plants grown under nitrogen, phosphorus or potassium-deficient condition.
Specific metabolic network responses to mineral deficiencies are not well-defined. Here, we conducted a detailed broad-scale identification of metabolic responses of tomato leaves and roots to N, P or K deficiency. Tomato plants were grown hydroponically under optimal (5mM N, 0.5mM P, or 5mM K) and deficient (0.5mM N, 0.05mM P, or 0.5mM K) conditions and metabolites were measured by LC-MS and G...
متن کاملRoot-synthesized cytokinins improve shoot growth and fruit yield in salinized tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.) plants
Salinity limits crop productivity, in part by decreasing shoot concentrations of the growth-promoting and senescence-delaying hormones cytokinins. Since constitutive cytokinin overproduction may have pleiotropic effects on plant development, two approaches assessed whether specific root-localized transgenic IPT (a key enzyme for cytokinin biosynthesis) gene expression could substantially improv...
